Description
Šuto Orizari, often shortened as Šutka (Shutka), is one of the ten municipalities that make up the City of Skopje, the capital of Macedonia. Šuto Orizari is also the name of the urban neighborhood where the municipal seat is found.

We go to the Roma neighborhood with the car or public transport (we have separate bus card for each of you) and personally we prefer the second option because it gives a local perspective to the social city life. Over there we will see the controversial Amdi pasha mosque (Roma in Shutka are Muslims, except 10 Orthodox families), we will walk throughout the Roma market full with clothes (you need Macedonian denars if you want to bye an “original” Gucci bag or “original “Adidas” shoes), you can talk with locals and ask question, and if you like to take a photos of them, you have to tell us to ask them, because we would like to treat this minority ethnic group with much respect. We will make a brake for a snack and then again walk along some streets where you will see the difference between rich and poor people in just a few square meters. Shutka exists in an extraordinary parallel dimension, so it is a quite an experience. We will back again with the car or bus to the city center.
