Kokino – Archaeological and Astronomical site

Tatikjev Kamen, commonly known as Kokino, is an archaeological site from the Bronze Age period and a prehistoric archaeo-astronomical observatory. Kokino gain the attention of scientists and world media since the moment it was discovered in 2001. Archaeologically tested and astronomically proved, this advanced community in the 2nd millennium BC, used mathematical equations for observing the sky and the celestial phenomena. We are very lucky they left traces around the stones and rock in the shape of markers, while following the rising of the sun during the summer and winter solstice, spring and fall equinox, and many other things in the time when they lived.

The book offers a glimpse into the ancient world of Kokino, and gives an overview of scientific data gained during the exploration of the site in the past 20 years.
